Quick answers
Is it free?
Yes. Downloading and playing cost nothing and there is nothing to buy. The app will show some ads to pay for hosting.
Do servers need a plugin?
No. MobileSA speaks the MTA:SA 1.6 protocol, so a server needs no plugin or special resource. You join as a normal player.
Is there an iOS version?
Not at the moment. MobileSA is Android only.
Why do I need my own game files?
GTA: San Andreas belongs to Rockstar Games and is not part of MobileSA. You need your own copy of the game; the launcher adds the files the client needs and checks them.
Is my PC account or serial shared?
No. MobileSA has its own account and does not read your PC MTA account, settings or serial. Servers see your phone as a separate player.
Where do I report bugs?
On our Discord. Include your phone model, Android version and the build number.
